A special transmission oil is not longer available. Item 1054887 is the alternative Oil which is recommended by Saab.
Service instructions:
Drain and Fill manual transmission oil at the Saab 90, 99* , 900 (-93):
- Drain the oil from the internal hex drain plug in the rear of the transmission. From circa 1990 on there is no drain plug, the oil must be sucked out in that case.
- 0,3l must be filled into the primary drive through the opening in the upper chain cover. Fill the rest of the oil above the dipstick.
*Saab 99 only from 1997 on with chain primary drive.
