Note for classic and modern classic Volvo models with rear-wheel drive:
NOT for rear axles with a DANA-Spicer limited-slip differential – for these differentials, use only special oil 1028897 or 1053496.
Note for Volvo EX40 / XC40:
The oil is used for the front axle drive unit with the following transmission types:
- AWF8G45 AWD
- 7DCTEVO AWD
The following oil is required for the rear angle gear with these transmission types: SKANDIX item 1108238
Used oil return:
In accordance with the Used Oil Ordinance, we are required to accept used oils from the following categories free of charge: internal combustion engine oils, gear oils, oil filters, and oily waste regularly generated during oil changes.
This applies up to the maximum quantity of oil purchased from us or the corresponding quantity of accessories purchased from us.

Here no oil change is provided by the manufacturer.
(no oil drain plug).
To change, the oil can be sucked off or the differential cover can be removed.
