Owatrol Oil: Versatile rust protection for various materials

- Reliable protection for indoor and outdoor use
Owatrol Oil is suitable for treating a variety of materials, such as metal, plastic, glass, and wood. This transparent oil preserves the characteristic rusted finish while forming a protective barrier by displacing air and moisture from the rusted area.

- Long-lasting rust preservation
Upon application, it creates a flexible, insulating protective layer that halts the corrosion process and serves as a base for further painting. The colorless product can be applied directly onto existing rust. Laborious sandblasting or sanding is generally not required; however, loose rust and paint flakes must be removed.

- Easy application
Before treatment, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and completely dry. The oil can be applied after a drying period of approximately 24 hours. Afterward, allow the treated area to dry and check that a uniform, silky sheen has developed.

- Coverage
Depending on the material's texture and absorbency, one liter of Owatrol Oil covers approximately 18 m². Actual consumption may vary based on the surface.
