CRC high-temperature ceramic paste is a universal assembly paste. The separating effect as an anti-seize paste e.g. for screws, bolts and shaft-hub-connections surpasses
the upper temperature limit of practically all conventional materials. The paste can be used universally for all common metallic materials because it does not itself contain any electrochemically active metals. They reliably prevent the cold welding of stainless steel. Solid lubricants suppress tribo-corrosion even at high surface pressures and prevent scoring and stick-slip when producing longitudinal interference fits. Screws are easy to loosen even after use in high temperature and corrosive environment. Because of its white color, CRC high-temperature ceramic paste can be processed cleanly and has little soiling effect. It forms an effective anti-corrosion film on rust-sensitive steels.

In the automotive industry IT IS USED AS A brake pad paste for the back of disc brake pads. It prevents the pads from sticking and lubricates their guide in the brake caliper. This allows the pad to slide back quickly after braking, preventing jammed pads from overheating. The paste does not contain any electrically conductive components that can lead to short circuits in the electrical connections of ABS sensors or wear sensors.
