A Pause / residual heater makes the engine coolant circulate for about 12 minutes after the engine stops. The cabin is fully heatable for 12 minutes after you have parked.
This is good for both your comfort and the enviroment because the engine dont have to idle. Perfect for long waiting times at railway crossings, traffic jams in the winter or for Taxis.
The function is activated via an electrical switch. It is possible to run it for further 12 minutes but the heating performance is much lower in that case.
Not suitable for vehicles with indepentend car heaters.
