Seat belt guide B-pillar for Volvo

The seat belt guide on the B-pillar has to endure quite a bit over the course of its lifetime. After all, the seat belt is pulled through it every time someone gets into the car, more or less roughly. And so, as with any plastic part, the inevitable happens at some point: once the part has become brittle enough, even a slight load is enough to cause it to break at one of the slimmer points. If more than one tab is missing, the guide will hang loosely on the seat belt.
Because we have been familiar with this from older models for some time, we have had this guide produced in gray/granite. In most cases, this has been discontinued by the vehicle manufacturer at some point without notice and without replacement.
We advise against conspicuously inexpensive offers, as these are usually not a good fit. We have tested this in advance.
Simply leaving out the belt guide is not a particularly good idea either: the cutout in the trim is often somewhat sharp-edged, causing even more damage to the seat belt, which is already not new. The large opening is not particularly attractive either.
If the belt is worn or even defective, you will not get a sticker at the general inspection and it will quickly become very expensive: the pyrotechnic belt tensioner is located on the belt reel, which is not available separately. Due to the pyrotechnics, the belt tensioner may only be installed by specially trained professionals and may not be sold or shipped to end consumers. Even storage is subject to strict regulations.
A new guide for the seat belt is therefore a good investment and is now available in the shop under the numbers 1102921 (right) and 1102920 (left).
