Save on shipping costs for exhaust parts

Original exhaust systems or system components sometimes have rather unwieldy dimensions. Parts over two meters in length or even complete systems downstream of the catalytic converter are not uncommon.
As a mail-order company, this presents us with the special task of finding an affordable shipping method for our customers.
Up to a length of 1.2m, this is usually not a big problem, but above that, it quickly becomes bulky goods or even pallet goods. Of course, this makes the shipping costs skyrocket, and international shipping in particular can get really expensive.
To get exhaust system parts over 1.2m long into a normal package, we have come up with a solution that also occasionally makes installation easier:
From now on, we have many extra-long system parts in our shop as a split version with a suitable pipe connector. The split version is less bulky under the car and offers a further adjustment option thanks to the pipe connector, which sometimes makes alignment even easier. We have been offering this variant for some time on request and have had good experiences with it.
You can find the split version as an alternative under the respective article. If a split is possible, we have carried this out and added it to our shop as an alternative order item.
Incidentally, not only can you save significantly on shipping costs with the split version and perhaps make installation easier for yourself, but the delivery agent will also be pleased about less bulky parcels!
