Review: Season Opener – Volvo Meetup NRW in Krefeld
25.04.2026What a great start to the new season! On April 18, 2026, the Volvo Friends NRW gathered in Krefeld for their joint season opener—and it was a huge success.
In perfect weather, nearly 150 vehicles and over 200 visitors gathered to spend a relaxed and varied day together celebrating the Swedish brands. Already in the morning, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere prevailed at the “Meet & Greet”: familiar faces were greeted, new connections were made, and numerous conversations about Volvo & Saab took place.
In between, the vehicles on display offered exciting insights for those interested in technology and design. From classics to modern models, everything that makes a Volvo enthusiast’s heart beat faster was represented.
In short: an all-around successful gathering with ideal conditions, great turnout, and above all—lots of fun for everyone involved. The 2026 season has thus been kicked off in fine style!
