Review: Annual meeting of the Volvo Klassiker IG
21.08.2024The annual meeting of the VOLVO Klassiker IG took place from July 19-21, 2024.
This year, 65 members of the VOLVO Klassiker Interessengemeinschaft met in beautiful weather in the beautiful Siegerland. One highlight followed the next over the three days. The meeting point and base camp for the three days was the spacious 4-star Dorint Hotel in Siegen. From here, the journey took them along the traditional “Iron Road” through the densely wooded Siegerland to neighboring Hesse. Here the Volvo friends visited the impressive Loh Collection (National Automobile Museum), which is only a year old and has already won several awards.
On the delightful way back, there is still some Siegerland local history in the Wilnsdorf museum. Back at the hotel, the participants were already awaiting the next highlight, a colorful IG evening with three attractive main prizes from SKANDIX. On Sunday, the Technik Museum in Freudenberg was on the agenda. And before you knew it, the long-awaited weekend was already over.
