The hinges of the bonnet become rusty over time and seize. This can cause severe damage to the bonnet, the sheet metal can even tear out. Our newly manufactured Hinges 1018812 prevent the problem permanently.
In the past, if the bonnet was damaged, a custom-made repair panel had to be inserted by a coachbuilder. Now there is a precisely fitting prefabricated repair panel which considerably reduces the repair effort. The threads for the bonnet hinges are already fitted. A (partial) painting of the bonnet is necessary after the repair.
The part is an exact fit for the Volvo 664192 bonnet repair, so can be used for all P1800 Jensen, P1800S, P1800E and P1800ES.
