Repair kit inside door opener for Volvo S60, V70 II, XC70

The inside door openers for Volvo S60 (-09), V70 (P26) and XC70 (01-07) are now also available separately.
Defects on the door opener occur more frequently due to fatiguing, brittle plastic. Usually the bearing of the opener or the guide of the Bowden cable on the base plate simply breaks off. Of course, this occurs most often on the driver's door.
Apart from the safety aspect, a vehicle door that cannot be opened correctly is also always a significant defect in the main inspection.
In the past, if the door opener in the door panel was defective, the complete door panel had to be ordered from the vehicle manufacturer. For a broken bearing or damaged opener lever, this was not a very sustainable solution, and quite expensive to boot.
Due to the increasing age of the vehicle, there have also been supply bottlenecks for door panels in the recent past, and some variants have already been discontinued without replacement.
Of course, there is the option of looking for used parts. However, it may be difficult to find the right trim by chance, given the large number of variants.
In addition, you usually end up with an old plastic part that has been in use for a long time and will sooner or later die.
We now offer a repair solution in our shop, in which the complete door opener including the base plate in the door trim is simply replaced.
The original door trim is still used. Thus a sustainable, durable and inexpensive repair option for the affected part.
