Rear bumper brackets for Volvo 850, V70 I, and V70XC

The brackets for the rear bumper are one of the few classic rust spots on the Volvo 850 and V70 l. Originally coated only in black when new, they quickly lost their coating in the rear splash area due to dirt and rusted away merrily. The aluminum support in the bumper then accelerated this process with contact corrosion. These brackets were often criticized during vehicle inspections after only fifteen to twenty years. At least the bracket is easy to replace. If you ever have to replace it, it's a good idea to wax it thoroughly. This significantly extends its durability.
Unfortunately, these brackets were only available from the vehicle manufacturer, who also significantly increased the prices for them about a year ago. In the past, this was usually a sign of limited availability.
Due to the continuing high demand, we quickly decided to initiate a reproduction to avoid any delivery bottlenecks. For the sake of simplicity, we also put together a set with matching screws. In our experience, these are often quite rusty and difficult to reuse.
The individual mounting bracket is now available in the shop under the number 1101401, and the complete set with screws for both sides is available under 1104653.
