Radiator grille "Waterfall" for Volvo 700 and 900

Along with the headlights, the radiator grille is usually the “face” of a car. If something looks unsightly here, such as flaking chrome, rust, or blind headlights and reflectors, it is immediately noticeable.

Unfortunately, like their predecessors, the radiator grilles for the Volvo 700 and 900 are no longer made of sheet steel but of plastic. Although this does not rust and requires little maintenance, it also has its disadvantages. Over time, the chrome coating cannot cope with the thermal properties of the plastic and flakes off more and more as it ages. The copper layer underneath is better at this and then becomes clearly visible with its greenish oxide layer. A visually appealing repair is then hardly possible, at least not economically.

Unfortunately, the radiator grilles are no longer available from the vehicle manufacturer. We have had new reproductions of the so-called “waterfall” version made. Two versions in chrome/chrome and chrome/black are now available.

The radiator grilles are now available in the shop under the numbers 1048908 and 1004248.

Suitable for the following vehicles:

• Volvo 740 from 1990, with integrated fog lights
• Volvo 760 from 1988
• Volvo 940 all models
• Volvo 960 up to 1994
