Interior light bracket for Volvo 700, 900, S90 and V90

The rear retaining bracket for the Volvo 700, 900, S90 and V90 interior light is available again.
The interior light in the headlining sits with its retaining lugs in two retaining brackets that reinforce the headlining for this purpose. If they were not there, the headlining would fray in the long run and the light would not hold.
Unfortunately, this is like most ageing plastic parts: At some point they become so brittle that they break at the slightest provocation.
And if the bulb has to be replaced in winter, of all times, that happens quickly.
This has probably led to an increased demand in recent years; the somewhat more delicate rear bracket has been out of stock at the vehicle manufacturer for quite some time.
If, after buying a well-maintained Volvo 740, the light falls out of the headliner when the driver's door is closed for the first time, as once happened to the author of these lines, then you know for sure what the brackets are good for.
So we had them remanufactured for a good reason. The rear bracket is now available again in our shop under the number 1066176.
