Heating control valve "Heavy duty" for Volvo 200

Heating regulation valve in reinforced version for Volvo 200 available as a set.
Pretty much everyone who has driven a 200 Volvo for a longer period of time knows one or the other problem with the heating water regulation: Either the valve does not close properly or does not open properly, in the worst case it leaks and the interior carpet is soaked with radiator antifreeze. Certainly, such problems are relatively normal from time to time due to the age of the vehicle, but after a reasonable repair they should be remedied for a very long time.
However, what accessory suppliers and vehicle manufacturers have offered for the 200 in recent years in the way of regulating valves has sometimes been of rather mixed quality. We have experienced this ourselves on one or two occasions when, for example, the heating could no longer be turned off completely in midsummer. That was not particularly pleasant.
So we have been looking for a durable and sustainable solution for a long time, and we have tried many things ourselves. Unfortunately, often with only moderate success.
In a related branch, we now came across the manufacturer of very high-quality heating valves, who was able to supply us with something suitable. Even the first sample made a much higher quality impression than what we had had in our hands in recent years. We then installed this valve for test purposes in a 244 from the seventies and adapted a console and hoses for it and were thrilled.
So we optimised the console again and commissioned the production and had suitable hoses made for it.
Models without air conditioning:
The finished heating regulator valve set can now be installed "plug'n'play" with the original Bowden cable in every 200 without air conditioning and will then ensure trouble-free heating operation for a very long time.
The heater control valve kit is now available from our shop under the number 1087431.
Models with air conditioning:
Additional adaptation work and hoses are necessary for vehicles with air conditioning, a set for air-conditioned 200s is in preparation.
