It goes without saying that SKANDIX is also keen to give youngtimers like the Volvo 940 the longest possible life. It is just as self-evident that many an owner of such a Swedish tank used to despair when the flywheel started to rattle and the clutch no longer wanted to separate properly. The fact that the dual-mass flywheel is no longer available for these vehicles usually made repair impossible.
However, SKANDIX now offers a set for converting the dual-mass flywheel to a solid flywheel so that no 900 has to leave its owner prematurely. The kit contains an adapter which, unlike the original M90 equipment, includes a support bearing.
When converting to a solid flywheel and clutch with shock absorber, vibrations could stress the transmission shaft. To prevent these from causing problems, the transmission shaft is additionally guided by the support bearing.
The conversion kit contains:

With this set incl. clutch, you get SKANDIX quality tested in everyday use. It enables a quick repair at approximately the same cost of the dual mass flywheel which is no longer available!
