Downpipe for Volvo 700, 900 Turbo

New flame tube for the Volvo 700 and 900 models with turbo in original dimensions available again.
Turbocharged engines, such as the B200FT or B230FT, require a quick exhaust gas discharge with little congestion. If this is not ensured, heat build-up can quickly occur at high speeds and cause lasting damage to the turbocharger and cylinder head. Cracks can appear on the exhaust valve seat or in the exhaust housing of the turbocharger.
Unfortunately, in recent years, accessory manufacturers have only supplied downpipes that have too small a cross-section and cause precisely this problem. This can go well for a long time if the engine is moved gently. However, if the engine is put to the test, for example on a long, fast stretch of motorway, the above-mentioned damage is quite likely.
To make matters worse, under certain conditions the full boost pressure may not be generated at all because the exhaust gas build-up impedes the flow of exhaust gases out of the supercharger.
Reason enough for us to order a remanufacture of the downpipes. According to the original sample and with at least the same pipe cross-section. These have just arrived and we have already installed it ourselves. It is easy to fit and it was tight straight away. The workmanship is exemplary.
Long-suffering turbo drivers know that this does not always have to be the case.
From now on and only in our shop, the new flame tubes according to the original sample are available under the number 1069689.
