Announcement: "Alte Schweden" Car Meet on July 19, 2026
03.07.2026
Motorsports Meets Swedish Automotive Culture
On July 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Motorworld Region Stuttgart will once again become a gathering place for Volvo and Saab fans from all over Germany—for the third time. On the grounds of the former airfield in Böblingen, hundreds of Volvo and Saab vehicles will be on display—ranging from lovingly maintained classic cars to iconic “youngtimers” from the 2000s.
This year’s focus is on motorsports. In the Legends Hall, a major special exhibition will showcase the fascinating racing history of Volvo and Saab. Visitors can look forward to historic championship-winning cars, legendary rally and touring cars, exciting motorsports videos, and an accompanying photo exhibition. From Volvo’s famous “flying bricks” to the successful Saab rally cars on snow and gravel, the passion for Swedish motorsports history comes to life here.
In addition, several special vehicle anniversaries will be celebrated:
- 70 Years of the Volvo Amazon
- 60 Years of the Volvo 100
- 50 Years of the Volvo 300
- 40 Years of the Volvo 480 ES
- 40 Years of the Saab 900 Cabriolet
- 30 Years of the Volvo V70/S70
Beyond the cars, the Motortreff offers a varied supporting program. SKANDIX can be found in the entrance area of the Legendenhalle. There, the team will once again showcase numerous new products from the current year. SKANDIX is also looking forward to friendly conversations with Volvo and Saab fans. Food and beverage options and a children’s program make the event a great destination for the whole family.
Anyone who wants to experience a day full of Swedish classics, motorsports history, and a genuine community atmosphere can now secure a parking ticket for the visitor or Swedish parking lot.
