Adapter plate heating control valve available again

On the Volvo 700 and 900 without air conditioning, the adapter plate is used to operate the heating control valve. The Bowden cables with which the valve is opened and closed are attached to it. The adapter plate converts the pulling movement into a turning movement that actuates the valve. The plastic adapter plate, also known as the "mimic", sits directly on the valve. Since the heater control valve is located in a difficult-to-reach place on the inside above the pedals, the mimic can easily break during disassembly. In this case, the heating can no longer be switched on or off.

Since 2014, the mimic has been discontinued by Volvo and it is now rare to find it used. SKANDIX has therefore had this part remanufactured according to the original sample and has taken this opportunity to improve the details.

The new production has two reinforcements as an improvement over the old original part:

• The claw that holds the adapter plate on the regulating valve.
• The area where the metal clamp 1032723 engages.

The part corresponds to Volvo no. 3537425 and fits all Volvo 740 and 940 from model year 1991 without air conditioning. It can be ordered in the webshop under article number 1022058.
