Leather gaiter gear lever for Volvo 200

The leather gearshift boot for Volvo 200 series is available again.
The noble leather boot was always reserved for the more exclusive cars in the Volvo 240 and 260. In the 240, for example, it was available in the GLT and the Turbo.
The more down-to-earth models had to make do with a somewhat meagre rubber boot, but the Volvo buyer did not have to put up with this:
There was the gearstick boot with frame in the original accessories catalogues as well as in the R-Sport catalogue. Easy to fit with a zip fastener and the integrated frame, the leather gaiter was a popular aftermarket accessory that significantly upgraded the interior of a simpler 240.
Because it sold so well, the original part has of course long been out of stock with the vehicle manufacturer. Used parts, despite their good workmanship, are usually not too nice either after 500,000 kilometres and at least 29 years.
We were often asked for them, so we simply had to have them remanufactured. The first one has been successfully installed, looks smart and has a high-quality finish.
