17th Volvo meet-up of the Volvo Stammtisch Schleswig-Holstein a huge success
06.10.2024On September 15, 2024, more than 200 proud Volvo owners from all over Germany and beyond gathered at the Eekholt wildlife park to present their vehicles.
The 17th Volvo meeting of the Schleswig-Holstein Stammtisch exceeded all expectations – with 208 vehicles, it was probably the largest privately organized Volvo meeting in Germany!
A rush that set a new record!
The perfect combination of sunny weather, fantastic organization and the passion of the Volvo community made this event an unforgettable day.
The meeting again enjoyed a high level of international participation this year, with vehicles coming from Denmark, Sweden and Luxembourg. Delegations of friends from the regulars' table from all over northern Germany were also welcomed.
Many models from PV 444/544 to Amazon, Duett, 140 series, 240 series, 1800 E and ES, 850, 950, Bertone, 70s and 90s series to EX30 could be admired. This variety was really impressive.
A highlight was undoubtedly a PV 60 from 1945 in top condition.
Each vehicle was greeted with a small gift from our sponsors.
This year, the 50th anniversary of the 240/260 series was given special attention. The vehicles celebrating this anniversary were highlighted by being placed in a special area. More than 40 vehicles were honored in this way! As a unique gift for the anniversary, all visitors were given an individually crafted, high-quality bar of soap in the shape of a VOLVO 245.

“VOLVO 240 series – A clean thing”
This truly unique gift was individually manufactured by the company Seifen Dealer in Malente.
Thanks to a larger, additionally rented area, there was enough space again this year for a parts sale. In addition to a variety of sought-after spare parts, various Volvo model vehicles were also offered.
As in previous years, all visitors were offered a variety of grilled sausages, soft drinks, coffee and cake in a professional hospitality tent. The very spacious tent set up by Zelte Sievers from Schmalfeld, along with the seating distributed across the square, created a cozy atmosphere in which to exchange ideas on all things VOLVO.
