Volvo V70 P26

Simon sent us a picture of his Volvo V70 II, which he acquired in mid-2024. The vehicle is a factory-delivered BiFuel with CNG drive. After the gas system had to be decommissioned after around 20 years due to age, the previous owner—a self-confessed CNG enthusiast—decided to buy a newer Volvo with natural gas drive. That's how Simon came to own this exceptionally well-maintained and, above all, rust-free Swedish car.
The V70 is powered by the proven 2.4-liter five-cylinder engine with 140 hp. With 5W-30 engine oil, the engine still shows no significant oil consumption. According to the previous owner, no repairs have been made to either the engine or the transmission – a remarkable achievement considering the car now has 426,000 kilometers on the clock.
At the time of purchase, the Volvo had just over 410,000 kilometers on the clock. The previous owner remained loyal to the vehicle for over 20 years and, according to his own statement, was never let down. Regular oil changes every 15,000 kilometers were a matter of course, and he is convinced that this engine can easily reach the million-kilometer mark.
Simon is particularly enthusiastic about the extensive equipment in his V70: cruise control, steering wheel remote control, car phone, automatic climate control, navigation system with HU-803, full leather interior, and the great sunroof ensure a high level of comfort.
