Volvo C70 T5
The photos were sent to us by Marcel Hoppe, who drives a Volvo C70 T5 convertible with manual transmission. The vehicle was built in 2002 and has around 240,000 kilometers on the clock.
The C70 has undergone extensive technical modifications, including the installation of a 3-inch downpipe and a do88 intercooler. On the test bench, the five-cylinder engine delivers 280 hp and 399 Nm in the range from 3,000 to 4,000 rpm. The suspension is from KW in the V3 version. Thanks to its extensive equipment, the convertible is correspondingly heavy.
Visually, an R front has been fitted, and all lighting elements and numerous interior parts have been converted to facelift standard. These include rare clear glass headlights, US clear glass turn signals, a white third brake light, and clear glass taillights.
Next up is a completely redesigned rear apron, which was cobbled together from three other bumpers. He has owned the convertible since the end of 2016.
