Differences spark plug connections

01.12.2021Note the difference between the spark plug / spark plug connections For classic copper cables with bakelite plug the spark plug is mounted without SAE screw-on adapter, and newer silicone / carbon cables, the spark plug is mounted with SAE screw-on.

Here is the classic version with Bakelitstecker and dismantled SAE adapter.
The pre-assembled SAE screw-on adapter can be screwed on / off with pliers.
Please note that the new silicone / carbon cable is always supplied complete with a plug and plug to the distributor and must not be disconnected (firmly connected).
Classic bakelite plugs with copper leads usually consist of cables and plugs.
