Windshield wiper motor / linkage

23.11.2021Installation manual for the wiper motor and the wiper linkage at the Volvo P1800 Jensen.
Material.
Required tools:
- ratchet
- socket
- 7/16 Ring- / wrench
- 7/16 Nut
- 7/8 Nut
First: Slip on the inner foam rubber seals.
Carefully insert wiper linkage. Attention - Do not damage the paint! Then connect the upper screws to the bracket.
Then attach the bottom brackets. Tighten the bolts until they are hand tight. Tighten crosswise!
The hubs are now tight.
The outer rubber seals are profiled and fit exactly onto the wiper hub, or specifically into the contours of the caps!
Cap with seal should be stretched over the hub.?
The locking nut.?
First - Tighten the lock nut by hand.
Then tighten with a nut. Attention - Not too tight, or the seal will not remain properly in place!
Installation is completed!
