22.11.2023

First, disconnect the negative battery cable.

Unscrew all cables that are connected to the switch. Take a picture where each wire is located before taking them off. Loosen the small retaining screw for the wire, that operates the switch.

Loosen the small retaining screw in the brass swivel nut inside the car.

Pull out the Bowden cable towards the interior and unscrew the brass swivel nut completely.

Take out the old light switch and put the new one into position.

Screw on the swivel nut on the inside and make sure it is tight.

Insert the Bowden cable into the swivel nut up to the stop and fasten it with the small retaining screw.

Insert the wire into the brass mount as far as possible. It should look like the picture, when the light knob in the dashboard is pushed in as far as possible (off) and the light switch is pushed in completely (off) too.

Fasten the wire with the retaining screw.

Parking light position: The light knob should noticeably engage in halfway position.

Low beam position: The light knob should engage noticeably again.
