Saab 9-5 (-10): Changing the Engine air filter
07.06.2018We show how you can easily change the engine air filter of your Saab 9-5 (-10) yourself. The shown car is a 2004 model with V6 Diesel.
Lift the right front of the car with a jack or a workshop lift.
The air filter is located in front of the right front wheel.
Unscrew two screws at the inner fender and one screw at the underside of the spoiler.
Unscrew the filter lid screws (Skandix 1060269) and take the lid off.
If the lid is stucked carefully take the inner fender aside and lever with a screwdriver.
Pull down the old filter.
Fit the new filter. Re-install all parts in reversed order.
