23.11.2021Repair of the ignition wiring harness of the Volvo 960, S90, V90 inline six-cylinder engine.
Then reconnect all the plugs and sockets. The colour coding for the respective cylinder can be found in the adjacent table. Also reinstall the rubber grommet that was removed at the beginning.
First cylinder towards front
Cylinder 1:
(-) Red/White
(15+) Green/Red
Cylinder 2:
(-) White/Black
(15+) Green/Red
Cylinder 3:
(-) Orange
(15+) Green/Red
Cylinder 4:
(-) Green/Yellow
(15+) Green/Red
Cylinder 5:
(-) Yellow/Brown
(15+) Green/Red
Cylinder 6:
(-) Purple
(15+) Green/Red
When attaching the plugs to the ignition coils, make sure that the cables are routed in a way that allows you to attach the engine cover again without any problems. Finally, refit the engine cover and screw it tight.
