Remote control housing

In the following instructions we show how easy it is to change the housing of a remote control. It is not necessary to teach or reprogram the remote control, as the circuit board is transferred from the old housing to the new housing.


First, the latch of the key is moved to the left so that the emergency key can be pulled out effortlessly


The cover can be lifted open with the help of a screwdriver.


Next, remove the cover of the remote control.


Now the circuit board is visible.


The bottom side is showing the battery of the remote control. Now the battery of the old remote control is transferred to the new housing.


On the left in the picture the new housing and on the right the old remote control.


The circuit board with keypad can be easily pushed out.


Carefully detach the keypad from the circuit board.


Then remove the spacer from the board.


To do this, carefully push out the two lugs.


Now press the circuit board onto the bracket of the new remote control.


Fits.

Push the circuit board back into the casing of the button panel of the new remote control.


Now insert the keypad including the mounted circuit board into the housing.


Place the cover on the housing and press the two parts firmly together


Important the "old" emergency key must be transferred, as only one blank is supplied in the new housing.
