Installation of Pioneer TS-X150 speakers

16.01.2024

These speakers are suitable for all cars, especially those without intended holes/places for speakers from the factory. These speakers have long connection cables and come with glue pads, so they are easy to install.

Attach the double sided glue tapes to the speaker.

Clean the floor cover and stick the speakers to the floor underneath the front seats. Take care that the seat adjustment does not get restricted by the speakers. If the rear footwell is not needed, it is appropriate to attach the speakers parallel to the inner sills, so the speaker openings can face the interior of the car.

Fold up the floor covering on the edges and lay the cables along the inner sills towards the dashboard.

Lay the speaker cables under the floor covering along the a pillar up behind the dashboard.

Lay the speaker cables towards the middle of the dashboard and cut them to the correct length.

Connect the speaker cables with the correct adapter connector for your radio. Put a piece of heat-shrink tubing on the wires before crimping or soldering them together.

Shrink the heat-shrink tubing so the cable connections are isolated well. If you do not want to use heat-shrink tubing, insulating tape can be an alternative.

Plug the speaker connector into your radio.
