Installation Interior Blower

21.12.2021Installation instructions from vehicle manufacturer: - 2 people are necessary to replace this blower. - The dash board has to be removed. We strongly recommend to have this work done by a professional workshop because the dash board electric as well as the airbag system are involved. let you Volvo dealer check if the blower or the air condition control is the cause for the malfunction.
The center pin from the Volvo tool 1047466 can be used with the OEM blower.
With the aftermarket blower 1052877 the center pin is not needed.
OEM blower 1041900: the center pin can be mounted to the blower shaft.

When the tool sits perfectly hold the handle. A second person now has to disconnect the blower from the cabin side:
1. disconnect the wiring
2. remove the screws
3. push the lever of the blower box to unlock it
When the blower is successfully unlocked turn the handle 15° counter-clock wise and pull out the blower (reverse the steps to install the new blower).
