23.11.2021How to repair the lock of the Volvo 850 glove box.
Remove all screws holding the glove box cover.
Remove all screws from the lock.
Carefully pull the lock while keeping tension on the spring mechanism.
Carefully separate the lock parts.
Before you insert the shaft, make sure that latch and spring are in correct position.
Then you can insert the shaft, make sure to keep the correct direction.
Fix the shaft with the circlip.
Remove the six screws holding the glove box in place.
Pull the box some centimeters out, far enough to gain access to the catch.
Replace the catch.
