02.03.2020In the following we describe the correct installation of the large sealing ring (SKANDIX-No.: 1037369) and the small sealing ring (SKANDIX-No.: 1037370) between throttle body and intake silencer. Both sealing rings must always be replaced.
Such damage occurs if the sealing rings are mounted incorrectly.
The direct comparison shows very nicely how deformed the left sealing ring is when mounted incorrectly.

Before assembly, the sealing rings should be sprayed with an assembly spray to ensure that they slide into the correct position. If the sealing rings are defective or not correctly fitted, air can be drawn in!
