Remove old seal.
Clamps are not required for the new seal!
But they can also remain on the vehicle.
Cut the seal to length (supplied longer than required) and mitre the ends of the seal with a hacksaw.
Start in the upper corner.
Proceed around the door cut-out.
Now the seal can be shortened or stretched again. It is somewhat variable in length due to the flexible metal links. If the seal is just a little too long, it is not necessary to cut it, just compressing it may be sufficient. Finally, glue the seal to the mitre with profile adhesive.
And fasten it from the inside using the original trim clip.
