21.12.2021In case of a worn membrane the vehicle manufacturer only offers the complete wastegate valve unit. With our spare membrane we are offering a repair solution.
We show the renewal of the membrane at a 1995 Volvo 940 with B230FT engine.
Pull off the vacuum hose and remove the screws.
Remove the wastegate actuator.
Pull the membrane out of the housing.
Remove the coil spring and the plastic cap from the old membrane. Attach the coil spring to the new membrane.
Depending on the vehicle model it may be possible that the sping has an installation direction.
Press down the plastic cap carefully and in a straigt direction until it snaps onto the membrane.
Now you can reassemble the actuator.
