Slide the inverted brake boot on to the brake arm as shown in the photo.? Position the supplied tie strap on the line marked on the neck of the boot.
ATT: IF THE TIE STRAP IS NOT FIXED ON THE MARKED LINE? INSIDE THE BOOT, IT WILL NOT WORK IN CORRECT WAY?
With the line just above the bend in the brake arm, tighten the tie strap firmly and cut the excess from the strap.
Invert the boot to the finished side and insert the metal seating around the brake by exerting light pressure.
ATT: IF THE BOOT IS FIXED OVER THE HAND LEVER , IT WILL NOT WORK IN CORRECT WAY
PLEASE SEE THE CORRECT POSITION
Use the enclosed mounting screw and washer to secure the front part of the boot assembly.? Please note:? There is a small hole drilled in the metal frame. Please line the screw up to the hole before tightening (see arrow in photo at right). Tighten the screw to secure the brake boot frame to your Saab.
Installation complete!? Note? the direction of the installed brake boot to help you determine the front and back orientation. Also note that the top of the brake arm handle should be exposed as shown in the photo. Enjoy the enhanced look of your Saab!
