Remove the footwell panel at the driver side. Then remove the spring clip and the pin from the clutch cable / Pedal.

Now you can pull the cable to the engine compartment. After that remove the grommet from the firewall.

Actuate the clutchfork with a mounting lever and remove the cable.

In advance pull the rubber boot out of its seat to prevent damaging it.

Pull the new grommet off the clutch cable and apply silicone oil.

First put the new cable through the firewall and after that, fit the grommet.

Only then press the cable sheath with the plastic guide into the grommet. Hook the cable to the pedal and attach pin + spring clip.

Note: Do not attempt to push the cable pull into position with the grommet fitted. This won`t work and the pull will be too short, because the cable sheath won`t slide into position.

Finally, actuate the clutch fork again with a mounting lever and hook the cable together with the absorber weight into the clutch bell housing.

Bring the rubber boot back into the correct position, adjust the clutch play and the work is done!

Note: If the broken cable was caused by a stiff clutch, replace the clutch. The New cable will not be a long-lasting solution!
