Changing Bulbs In The Trip Computer

23.11.2021Instruction how to replace the bulbs of the trip computer up to model year 2000.
Turn all three knobs with the marker towards the top. Now you can use a small flat head screwdriver to release the knobs from the shaft.
Grab into the holes and pull the cover. If necessary you can use a slim blade to support from the sides.
Release all four screws.
Take out the ashtray. (in cars with automatic transmission pull back the gear lever to the backmost position). Then pull the radio, deposit tray and cover forwards.
Push the catches and pull out the switch of the trip computer.
The bulb has a bajonet socket. Use a screwdriver to fasten/release it.
Put the new coloured cap on the bulb. Use pliers to insert the new bulb to prevent contaminations.
To reassemble the dash board reverse the procedure.
