Alternative Rear Emblem

23.11.2021Here we show how to use the emblem 1027606 as an alternative for the not longer available Saab/Scania rear emblem.
The new emblem.
Carfully remove the old emblem. For example using a plastic wedge, plastic putty knife or small screwdriver.
Remove old adhesive residues and degrease the area. You will recognizethat the remaining holes do not fit the new emblem.
Redundant pins.
Carefully remove the pins from the new emblem without damaging it.
Stick the new emblem to the rear cover and press is down.
Attention: Without the guide pins you have only one try to center it perfectly.
Although the new emblem is a little bit smaller and thicker than the originginal...
... it results in an harmonious look.
