Adaption to DIN Radio Frame

23.11.2021How to replace the original Volvo radio by standard 1-DIN.
Remove the old radio and disconnect the wire harness.
Here you can see the difference bewtween the standard storage tray 1017769 and the original tray 1032041. The original tray compensates the height difference of 2xDIN. The standard tray is lower and comes without guide rails.
Connect the new radio with the adapter cable kit to the car´s wire harness.
Connect the antenna and insert radio and new storage tray simultaneously.
Mount the cover frame.
Put on the control panel.
