24.11.2021On some vehicles the body metal around the clip is rusted.
After repairing the metal or as a preventive measure, clips for body trim should always be used with a corrosion protection agent such as cavity wax. A thorough cleaning should always precede.
This will prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating.
