This ignition switch is currently the only available alternative to the original part, which frequently suffers from supply shortages.
It works in most Saab 9000 models for which the manufacturer lists it. However, issues may arise in some vehicles, requiring the rewiring (re-pinning) of specific functions.
Unfortunately, we cannot pinpoint exactly which vehicles are affected, as the Saab parts catalog does not distinguish between different switches for this application. A table showing the pin assignments is available for download from our site.
