This spare tire should be ordered together with the corresponding bag (see accessories). It should be positioned in the cargo area and secured with the required straps.
Service instructions:
The following safety aspects must be observed:
- The spare tire is for temporary use only and should be replaced with a standard tire as soon as possible.
- Driving characteristics may change; spare tires are generally smaller than standard tires. Avoid using car washes and be careful of curbs due to lower ground clearance.
- Recommended tire pressures must be maintained.
- Never drive vehicles with a spare tire faster than 80 km/h.
- Vehicles must never have multiple spare tires equipped at the same time.
- Do not use them with snow chains.
- If possible, disable rear-axle drive on all-wheel-drive vehicles.
- Spare tires cannot be repaired.
- Spare tires must always be used in the size approved for the vehicle.
