The factory-installed steering gears were replaced by Volvo in this version. When replacing the steering gear, a new steering spindle (Skandix 1017192 or 1089239) is also required for the conversion.

Service instructions:

Please check the universal Joint of the Steering column on free movement and freedom from blacklash. A defective joint will destroy the steering rack.
