Body adhesive for collision repairs.
This high-strength, solvent-free, two-component epoxy resin-based adhesive offers high peel strength even at extreme temperatures from -40°C to 80°C.
It is used in vehicle repair for structural bonding of metals when high crash performance is required.
A dosing device with a piston rod must be used for processing.

The different properties of the two adhesives become apparent when the bonded substrates are subjected to a crash.
TEROSON® EP 5055 is a body adhesive.
TEROSON® EP 5065, on the other hand, is an impact-resistant structural adhesive, meaning it can absorb much more energy to reduce the impact of a crash. Impact-resistant structural adhesives are typically used for joints, profile frames, struts, and other body structural joints with high strength requirements.
The open time (pot life) of TEROSON EP 5055 is 80 minutes; that of TEROSON EP 5065 is 60 minutes.
