This remote control is only compatible with vehicles equipped with a car-sharing function (variant code 2D02).

A special car key for owners who want to ensure their vehicle is used responsibly – even when driven by others.

Perfect if the vehicle is driven by young, inexperienced drivers, a valet parking service, or a garage.

The Red Key allows you to set the following parameters, among others:
- Limited maximum speed: Set to 120 km/h by default.
- Adaptive cruise control: The maximum possible distance to the vehicle in front is preset.
- Speed ​​warnings: Preset to 50, 70, and 90 km/h.
- Limited volume: The maximum volume is reduced and can be turned on or off (activated by default).

Regardless of individual settings, the following safety features are always active, depending on the vehicle's equipment:

- Blind Spot Information System (BLIS)
- Lane Keeping Aid and Lane Departure Warning
- Forward Collision Warning
- Driver Alert Control
