Condition of old parts when returned
The proportion of remanufactured spare parts in the automotive parts trade is increasing rapidly. Vehicle manufacturers support this development because it protects the environment and resources. However, only parts that have failed due to normal wear and tear for the component can be refurbished. Parts that show external damage due to impacts, accidents or severe corrosion, for example, can no longer be refurbished and must be scrapped.
The repayment of the deposit requires the return of a reusable old part. Here is a checklist of the requirements that must generally be met:
- Old part without mechanical damage to the housing, especially no cracks in the turbine housing!
- Old part corresponds to the replacement part delivered
- Old part complete and assembled
- Old part without any liquid residue
- Old part without accident damage
- Old part in the replacement part packaging supplied by Skandix
Old parts that do not meet these requirements will be scrapped; The deposit amount will not be repaid!
