Repair kit for defective threads in the oil pan. The steel-aluminum connection tends to corrode at this point and causes threads in the oil pan to be torn out. With this repair kit, the thread is cut one millimeter larger with the same pitch and then closed with a suitable oil drain plug. Inexpensive and reliable alternative to a new oil pan.
