Condition of old parts when returned

The proportion of reconditioned spare parts is increasing sharply in the automotive parts trade. Vehicle manufacturers support this development because it protects the environment and resources. However, only parts that have failed due to normal wear and tear for the component can be reconditioned. Parts that show external damage due to impact, accidents or severe corrosion, for example, can no longer be reconditioned and must be scrapped.

The repayment of the deposit value requires the return of a recyclable old part. Here is a checklist of the requirements that must generally be met:

- Old part corresponds to the delivered replacement part
- Old part complete and assembled
- Old part without any liquid residues
- Old part without mechanical damage to the housing
- Old part without accident damage
- Old part in the packaging of the replacement part supplied by Skandix

Old parts that do not meet these requirements will be scrapped; the deposit amount will not be refunded!

Service instructions:

Oil quantity when completely refilled is approx. 250ml. When the level is correct, there is a gap of 1cm between the oil and the opening for the filler screw. Use hypoid oil, article no. 1015892.
