With the SKANDIX repair kit it is possible to re-assemble bumper reinforcements which have broken mounting points. Set for one side.

The original bumper bracket is made of aluminium and has pressed-in steel studs. Contact corrosion can cause the aluminium to corrode around the studs - the studs tear out.

For a lasting repair without renewed contact corrosion, our repair kit includes rubber pads to insulate the materials.

Service instructions:

Quick manual:

- Disassemble the bumper cover and bumper reinforcement.
- If still present, hammer out the old studs
- Insert the repair part into the holes inside the reinforcement.
For the correction installation position, note the plastic bridges at the back of the bumper cover. They must exactly engage to the repair part slots.
- Place the rubber pad between the reinforcement and the repair part.
- Eventually derust and seal the impact absorbers
- Mount the reinforcement and the bumper cover.
